Seul rescapé des stades congolais, Kamal City est prêt à accueillir V. Club, Lupopo et DCMP, engagés en Interclubs de la CAF mais sans stade local. Dans un communiqué publié samedi et signé, au nom du chairman de Mazembe, Moïse Katumbi, par le manager général des Corbeaux, Frédéric Kitenge, le TP Mazembe s’est dit prêt à offrir l’hospitalité à ces 3 clubs frères.

Ayant pris «connaissance des décisions de la CAF confirmant le non homologation des stades des Martyrs et Kibassa pour les compétitions majeures», Katumbi a ouvert la porte du Stade TP Mazembe, «construit pour la jeunesse congolaise et toutes les équipes y sont les bienvenues ».

Le message est plein de sens et revêt un caractère de solidarité alors que l’image du football congolais est en jeu au niveau du continent.
